Samsung Galaxy Alpha pre-orders begin

Samsung’s latest announcement involves the Galaxy Alpha, an average-sized, yet powerful smartphone. The modest device is set for release on September 10th in the UK. Customers can start pre-ordering as soon as August 28th, though.

For those who missed the announcement, this device comes with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display, an octa-core Exynos processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a 12 MP rear camera, and more.

Opinion: The Galaxy Alpha is not your average smartphone. It is among the first Samsung devices to incorporate a metal housing.
